Dont's

Below you will find a list of procedures that should not be followed while assisting applicants.

Using invalid proofs

By no means should Street Team Agents modify any proof that is going to be submitted for approval purposes. It is totally forbidden to use a card or letter that does not belong to the applicant. If a ST Agent submits proofs under another person’s information, this will be seen as a serious and fraudulent offense.

Manipulate personal information

If there is any validation issue while creating a new application, ST Agents should not modify the applicant’s personal information. For example, ST Agents should not change the cusktomer’s DOB or SSN if there is a validation issue. Instead, they should inform applicants that they need to provide the necessary proofs to get their application approved.

Use Benefit Recipient information in another application

If a applicant is a benefit recipient, ST Agents cannot create a second application introducing that applicant’s personal information in the Applicant Personal Information section. This means that they should not create a new application for a person who is already a benefit recipient in another active account.

Submit blurry or unreadable proofs

ST agents have to make sure that all the essential information, such as the applicant’s full name, DOB, SSN, etc., is clear and legible. They should not submit blurry or distorted images since most probably, they will end up getting unqualified.

Using another agent’s credentials

Credentials must not be shared with other people. Since every ST Agent has their own credentials, it would be unnecessary to share this information with other agents. It is also forbidden to share this information with other people, so that they can create enrollments. These credentials are unique and for individual use.

Provide status information without verifying risk factors

If a street team ST Agent needs to provide the status of an application, they must verify all necessary risk factors. If a person who is not the account holder requests information about an account by only providing the applicant’s name, the ST Agent will have to inform that in order to provide information, that person needs to provide information such as the EID number and the last four digits of the Social Security Number.

Signing up minors without legal guardian

A Minor cannot apply if their legal guardian does not have a valid SSN. It would be no use to create an application using the information of another adult with a valid SSN because, after processing this information, it will not pass the validation process.
