DOB Escalation
If the DOB entered is not validated, that field will show a red sign indicating that the DOB is invalid:
The agent will have three attempts to correct the DOB and, if after the third try it is still not validated, a pop up will be displayed indicating that additional documentation to prove the DOB will be required. The agent will click on CONTINUE ANYWAY and will carry on completing the enrollment:
On the Thank you! page, apart from the Enrollment ID number and the status of the application, an additional message will be included indicating which documents will be considered valid DOB proofs:
The agent will have to upload a valid DOB proof along with any other documentation required for the ID to get Qualified.
Valid DOB Proofs:
- Driver’s License showing the DOB
- State ID Card showing the DOB
- Military ID showing the DOB
- Voter Registration Card showing the DOB
- SSA or State Letter showing the DOB
- Official Income Documentation showing the DOB
- Citizenship and Immigration Documentation showing the DOB
- Military Discharge Documentation showing the DOB
- Weapons permit showing the DOB
- Birth Certificate showing the DOB
- Passport showing the DOB
the proof presented must be under the applicant´s name and up to date. The DOB must be printed and not handwritten
Bear in mind that in States where NLAD is not present (TX and OR), the valid DOB proofs will be the ones that we have been using up to now.
