SSN Escalation
If there is a mismatch between the applicant´s personal information and the Public Records, a warning message will be displayed in every field that did not pass the validation:
The agent will have three attempts to modify the information previously entered. If it still cannot be validated, a pop up will appear stating that in order to continue, a SSN proof will be required. If the applicant agrees, the agent will click on CONTINUE ANYWAY. On the Thank you! page, the ST agent will see again a note stating that the customer needs to upload SSN proof, along with any other documentation required:
when taking a picture of the SSN proof, the agent will cover the first five digits. Only the last four need to be visible.
- The SSN proof has to be uploaded in a separate picture.
- To finish the process, the agent will follow the regular enrollment process steps.
Valid SSN Proofs
93% of the SSN proofs presented are SSN cards vs. all others that are not as easy to get or approve
- SSN card
- Government Assistance Program Document
- Military Discharge documentation
- Prior year's State, Federal or Tribal tax return
- Statement of benefits from a qualifying program
- Unemployment/Workers' compensation statement of benefit
- Unexpired United States Government/Military ID/Tribal ID
- Unexpired weapons permit
- W2 form within the last 2 years
1099 Form is valid only for SSN proof. As per current eligibility and document validity, it will not be accepted to be used as Income proof
