NLAD

NLAD (National Lifeline Accountability Database) is a nationwide database that has a registry of every person that is receiving a Lifeline benefit.

From now on, apart from all the validations that CSR runs every time an enrollment is created, NLAD will run some validations of its own. These validations are very similar to the ones we have on our side, but the outcome may vary.

TPIV

TPIV (Third Party Identity Validation) is the NLAD´s Lexis Nexis validation, which will also be ran when creating an enrollment.

Process

Both CSR and NLAD will run different validations that will determine the outcome of each enrollment created.

If NLAD´s TPIV (personal information validation) fails, ST agents will have the option to continue creating the enrollment.

After completing the enrollment process, the status of those applications will be Pending (Escalation pending external resolution from NLAD) and it might take longer for them to change to Qualified because it will depend exclusively on NLAD´s response.

Texas has its own agency (TXLAD) that take care of validating the applicant’s personal information.
