Medi-Cal Acceptable Documentation Process (Web)

Qualification - Program

For enrollments created through the Medicaid program in the state of California, a new field will be displayed in the eligibility page when the customer selects the Medi-Cal program. Depending on the type of card, it will be displayed as the BIC ID, CIN ID, or Member ID). After the customer enters the value, the system will validate the format according to the identification type before continuing to the enrollment flow.

The length and format of the value to be entered on the new field will depend on the identification type selected. As shown below, the website will indicate the format that needs to be provided for each case.
