Recording Calls from Impact 360


The following article details the necessary steps that need to be followed in order to convert the calls that can be found in impact 360. These calls will be exported as MP3 files. This procedure needs to be followed, so that the audio file can be listened with all operative systems.


 


Procedure


1) First of all, you have to make sure that the following recording device is enabled in the Sound settings from the Control Panel. If it is not, make a right click on the icon and then select the Enable option. The icon will display a checkmark once the recording device is active:



2) Then, you will have to install Audacity, a free open source digital audio editor and recording computer software application:



3) Once installed, make sure that the input device selected is set in Stereo Mix:



4) Look for the contact that you want to record:



5) Afterwards, press the Record button in Audacity and then play the recording right away by pressing the play button :



6) You have to wait for the call to be played completely before you stop the recording. Once completed, you can save the file. In order to do so, go to File and then select the Export option:



7) Select a destination and save the file as MP3:
