Tax forms filing deadline extension

The tax filing deadline for disaster-area taxpayers residing in most of California has been extended until October 16, 2023. The current list of eligible localities and other details for each disaster are always available on the Tax Relief in Disaster Situations page on IRS.gov.

The TPA will continue to accept 2021 tax forms as proof of qualification by income until the close of business on Monday, October 16. 2023. Applicants can submit either 2021 or 2022 tax forms as documentation supporting their LifeLine applications. After Monday, October 16, 2023, 2021 tax forms will no longer be acceptable proof of qualification by income.
