Medi-Cal Acceptable Documentation Process (Quest)


Program - Qualification

Agents must take into account that if the customer qualifies with MEDI-CAL, the only acceptable documents are the following:

When the applicant selects Medi-Cal as their Qualifying program, a pop-up window will be displayed, and the agent will be able to select the type of card the applicant has.

Agents will also have the option to scan the image.

In case the Benefit Number ID can’t be obtained, the following message and options will be displayed:

After the value is entered in the correct format, it will then be added under the Medical program selection.

Complete Proofs Upload


In the next step, the agent will have to upload the required documents for the enrollment.

Required Proofs


In case the Program Proof is required, and the benefit card was captured via the scan feature to obtain the Benefit Number ID, the image captured will be automatically uploaded as Program Proof.


The following message will appear on the proof upload page:

In case the Program Proof is required by CALAD, and the Beneficiary Identification Card ID was not captured previously, the upload will be requested in this step.

Pending Approval


After all required Proofs have been successfully uploaded, their status will be PENDING BO REVIEW until the corresponding approval process is completed.
