Verify Your Phone Carrier
How To Verify Your Current Service Provider?
Two different options are available to complete this process. You can use the California Lifeline Website or call them directly.

Step 1: Log In or Create a New Account
For first-time users: Create a new account by completing the registration form with your personal information.
IMPORTANT: You must use your Lifeline phone number during registration.


If you already have an account, log in with the email address or phone number linked to your account.

Step 2: Search for your provider’s information
Dashboard: Once logged in, you’ll see account dashboard. In there, you’ll see different actions you can complete. At the bottom-right corner, your current service provider’s name will be displayed.

Provide this information to the agent who is completing the Safelink Wireless Enrollment with you.
Contact California Lifeline Administrator
Call the California Lifeline Administrator and follow the automated prompts to find out your current provider.

CALAD Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Pacific Time)
- Closed on weekends and federal holidays

Once you confirmed your telephone service carrier, please provide it to the agent assisting you to complete the Safelink Wireless Enrollment.

Alternatives to find out your Carrier
On an iPhone
- Method 1 (Cellular): Go to Settings > Cellular. The carrier’s name is listed here.
- Method 2 (About): Go to Settings > General > About. Look for "Carrier" or "Network" to find the carrier's name.
On an Android
- Method 1 (About): Go to Settings > About phone. The carrier information may be listed here.
- Method 2 (SIM Status): Go to Settings > About phone > Status or SIM Status. Look for the carrier’s name.
Other options
Check the SIM Card or eSIM
- If it’s a physical SIM, the carrier’s name or logo may be printed on it.
- If it’s an eSIM, open Settings → Cellular plans / SIM manager to see your carrier’s name.

Dial 611 to validate your current carrier's name. You can then confirm your service provider from the list below.
