9) Support & Why SafeLink sections

At the top margin, users will find a set of tabs that allow them to look up specific information.

By clicking on the ORDER STATUS tab, applicants will be led to the tracking section, where they will be able to check the status of the whole process. The Benefit type dropdown menu allows applicants to switch between the Federal and State benefits.

By clicking on SUBMIT DOCS, applicants will be presented with all the instructions to submit the pending documents along with the SUBMIT PROOFS button.

The RE-CERTIFY section will present customers with all the information to renew their annual service. To keep the service active this process has to be completed once a year.

In the UPDATE INFO section, users can edit their Physical or Mailing address, if and when the application is enrolled. Otherwise, the applicant will be informed that the edition cannot be made.

In the CONSUMER PRIVACY section, applicants will be able to review and manage their PII that has been store in the system. If the info needs to be reviewed, the SUBMIT A REQUEST button will be available.

Check Order Status

In this section, applicants will be able to track the shipment of any order that they have created. They only need to introduce the Order ID provided when the enrolment was created along with their email address.

Technical/Service support

If customers have any issues with their device or service, they can access this section to get help. They will be presented with the different options depending on the type of issue and device that they have.


FCC Labels Download

As per FCC request, when reaching the Plan selection step during the enrollment process, each plan will display an FCC Label with detailed information for the plan selected. Depending on the device option selected, users will be able to get the information they need by selecting the corresponding option (either BYOP or Free smartphone).

Why Safelink?

In this final section, users wil be able to get general information about the SafeLink and LifeLine service.

Among other things, users can get information on how to qualify, the different plans available based on their location and the Frequently Asked Questions section for further assistance.
